In Harm's WayIn Harm's Way - Making an Impact across the North Shore!

Acclaimed across the North Shore as a powerful educational tool, In Harm's Way is a theatre production portraying true stories about domestic abuse, teen dating violence and bullying and teasing. The play features dramatic readings, poetry, music and dance, and takes the audience from despair to hope and healing. The cast is comprised of students at Peabody High, and well-known members of the community. Over 1,500 people have seen In Harm's Way in Gloucester, Ipswich and Lynn.

According to one audience member in Lynn:
"The play is well-assembled, well-paced. The poetry is fantastic, as is the dancing and singing. It gives information to (victims)...it says, look around - you're not the only one! These stories need to be told, they need to be heard!"

According to author/director Nicki Richon-Schoel of HAWC, "The production is a living document, weaving together authentic stories of survival and hope through drama, poetry, music and dance. When you listen to victims and survivors of domestic violence tell their stories, you are on sacred ground."
